1. On your own read and watch all of the course material that will prepare you for your test.
2. Choose between an Online Test or an In Person Test. Online Tests can be taken right after the course material is complete. In Person Tests availability is limited.
3. On your personal device (Mobile, Tablet or Laptop) complete the quiz.

Vehicle-for-Hire and Private Transportation Company (PTC) Training for the City of Toronto is an online training program designed for drivers providing transportation services in Toronto, Ontario. This city-approved program gives taxi drivers, limousine drivers, and drivers for companies such as Uber, Lyft and Facedrive the foundation they need to operate safely and successfully in Toronto. Drivers are only required to complete this program once and can use their accreditation across all vehicle-for-hire or private transportation companies.

Testing center is located near Don Mills Road & Eglinton Avenue East.

Drivers who wish to complete the test online must present a photo Driver License card as proof of identification when completing the online test.
